This writing is very telling but I would never just take their conclusion as the way to understand this, sometimes they should have taken the people word for what they did and who they were talking about, not what they thought they most have been, phallus is not the worship it part of the worship it is a symbol of the snake worship just as Isis the goddess is also a symbol of snake worship. They have to group this, look at Egypt symbols all different but all connect back to the serpent worship, that came out of Babylon and hey Chaldea, who brought back the worship of what was known as Sin Cult or Worship of the Fallen god, Satan, they also us Saturn as one of the symbols. Each is an aspect of their worship of the one they worship and it not the Lord God for sure. In case anyone reads this, I found the site with an old archeology report on the worship of snakes, and it said plainly it was not worship of the phallus but serpent worship. They sacrificed the strangers and did not harm their own. They were said to of the leaders, a god, that was a serpent that changed himself into a man. Snake worship seems to have been in so many countries if not all of the early ones, but they are still going. One of the names turned out to be named Abbadon?, the angel of the bottomless pit. Abados I think it is pronounced, All kind of names for the snake and the serpent people. Not only what they worship but who and where they came from.

I guess they were more into something else, about the time they were writing it, they were doing the enlighten crap, no god, not really.

All in all the website with the information of the history is a good one, but and this into what they have become, for they are the same ones to day, by another name.
