He has complications with the mom, not my deal... I made it so they had another chance... She saw us in Walmart holding hands and after a year of being seperated she wanted him back... I let him go... He came back to me...

I've been married to a BPD for 20 years.

That's why I ask.

Before I proposed I asked her if she loved me unconditionally.

She responded without missing a beat "Sometimes."

I thought she was the wittiest person on Earth I was laughing so hard.

It's a shame that I didn't realize she was serious.

I do now.

It's very tough on the kids.

I've noticed that most BPD and bipolar chicks are usually very fertile. It's really a cruel joke of nature, especially for any children born to them.

I feel for my children... But they have turned out awesome and I am very proud...

You passed the hardest test.

You acknowledged and accepted your diagnosis. This, as you know, allowed you to understand and cope with your behavior which is no fault of your own.

All too many remain in denial which leads to misery for themselves and all those close to them.

Your a truly fortunate and blessed and I'm certain that it took all your courage to move past your denial and heal. Having children can be the best motivation. It could also be devastating if one is never able to summon the courage to heal as it can get passed down to them.

Just make sure to remove all sharp objects and firearms from the household.

Most important step is you acknowledge your mental health status. Try some DBT therapy, I heard it's very helpful.

I've read and heard a lot of recent news about a major breakthrough using LSD, DMT, etc. for BPD, PTSD, etc.

It allegedly allows the person to memember and talk about the underlying trauma without triggering the debilitating "fight or flight" response.
