California's Lake Oroville Main Spillway Severely Damaged/Eroded. Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed

A couple were there working this morning as soon as the sun came up, they may have been there all night working in very low light. Looks like they are preparing for it to come into play very soon

I agree with you, it's scary thinking about what might very well happen again, yet could be much worse. I just hope and pray for the downstream communities, that nothing catastrophic happens.

On local forum: someone asked why red lights were flashing at the dam at 11 pm last night. Not related to the golf course fire.

I'm noticing Juan hasn't been buzzing the lake with the mighty Luscombe. I think DWR may have asked him not to for whatever reason. Of course the plane could be out of service or he could be sick or something. But it's definitely noticeable what with the dam being full that he hasn't done a flight over.

Friends that live below the dam are definitely getting concerned and have said they have had zero info except for what I’ve posted from the Webcams etc. There are many friends and loved ones in inundation zone.

2017 was real.

Changes were made.

Are YOU (anyone) expecting NO emergency fore news?

Do we know the height of new ES? It makes sense to add a couple of feet when they re did it! To me it looks like there are a couple of feet to go.

I asked this question last night. The water level at the lake side of the ES as seen on the shitty cam views seems to have more than .8 foot to go to overtop the ES.

Because the lakel level is allegedly 899.2' and alleged spillover is 901', hence 1.8'.

It's back a bit, but the video showed the official numbers and it said 100%, but it's gone now.

Hope she holds. I've become more aware as I pray that most people below have chosen to ignore the threat and dismiss warnings and would be responsible if the worst happens. All the kids though, they bear no blame for trusting DWR and living in the path of potential disaster.

My married niece is out near San Fran by a fault zone. Plenty of money. No preps. No extra food or water or a way to cook or cash or anything. She laughs off the subject of earthquakes.
