This is so frustrating! We are wanting to report on the dam, but the DWR and their lack of transparency, mixed with lies and fake water data makes us feel like we are all screwed if this all goes South.

It'll be climate change, for sure. It's all due to climate change: agony, misery, distress, flood, famine, pestilence, locusts, boll weevils, all of it.

Whew. I don't know how legit this guy is, but I have the utmost respect for Paul Preston. When he says Preston thinks she's gonna blow and we are looking at 2 million dead people, I can't dismiss that at all.

I am looking forward to what he says is an upcoming Paul Preston show about the situation. And I am counting on you to find it and post it.

I'm a vet in this thread, but I can't remember when water starts pouring down the ES? Wasn't it 911'? I'm sure that's just a coincidence though.....I know full pool is 900', but I don't believe that's when the water overtops the ES. I don't have time to search back to the 2017 debacle in this thread.

I believe it's only 1 extra foot from 900

Had to capture this before they change it or take it down. Lake Oroville is listed at 100% full. Do you think they are going to let the water spill over the emergency spillway??

Why do they only run the spillway at night? Now they have taken the camera off the main spillway, why? was it damaged and they do not want anyone to see it? Someone local needs to take a small cheap drone up there and get some video. Use a cheap drone that if lost will not be no big loss. I have an old AR drone that still flies good and has fair video. If I were not a couple thousand miles away I would do it..

The video is now showing the emergency (auxiliary) spillway, I think that is an indication that they intend for it to come into play soon. Lets hope and pray that it can handle the amount of water that will be going over it.

Should a dam upstream fail, I do not think the spillways could handle it. The lake should have never been allowed to get this full. They should have kept some storage to play with in case of something unexpected. IMO
