Trump Names Three Senior Justice Officials

President Trump on Tuesday began filling the upper ranks of the Department of Justice, nominating longtime U.S. attorney for Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein as deputy attorney general, according to the White House.

Mr. Trump also named two former Justice Department officials, Rachel L. Brand of Iowa and Washington lawyer Steven Andrew Engel, as associate attorney general and assistant attorney general, respectively.

All three nominations require Senate confirmation.
