One thing that is rarely pointed out, is they are way under the salary cap, compared to all the other teams. As soon as a player makes a name for himself, and wants a bigger contract, he is politely invited to seek another team to fill that contract.

The Pats will never allow a single player's contract to hurt the team as a whole. The players know this, and many are willing to play for less to remain on this well managed, successful team.

Been a Pats fan since I was five years old and started watching football with my dad. I will be 33 on Feb 5th.....yup superbowl Sunday. 😁 I'm a huge football fan in general and the fact that every so often my bday and the superbowl happen on the same day is amazing. Good excuse for a big party with my husband, my three boys and friends and family.

How the fuck can you watch this crap?

5 secs of play followed by 5 mins of commentary then 5mins of ads.
Getting bombarded with ads.
What a waste of time.

They are going to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of us see the breaks between plays as a chance to talk about that play, or predict the next play, etc. The ads can be a bit much, but it's a chance to run to the bathroom, grab another beer and not miss a play.

Too each his own, but I think think the non stop jogging and walking and whining of soccer makes that totally unwatchable.

I do like watching rugby, but until they allow other players to block for the runner, it will never be as good a football.
