When an athlete is in the zone (not aware of temporary self) then amazing things happen.

Interesting how they often look to the sky and whisper thank you. Sometimes they can’t believe what they just did.

Then arrogance comes (the belief that I did) and no matter how much effort he makes he never reaches the same heights. Because self is effortless.

Re: Has anyone figured out what happens when we die? Seriously?
Long story short....

I just need to know if there is ANYTHING to look forward to once you die...

This life has really fucked me over hardcore, and my heart is not long until it gives out due to the stress i've dealt with nonstop for almost 40 years.

Honestly.. even if "the lights go out" and that's that.. is acceptable at this point... I've gone through so much bullshit with my ex constantly causing me drama over our kids for the past 18 years, that I just can't physically or mentally take this crap anymore!

When my father died back in 2002, at age 48, the morning after my birthday no less, my mother went to see a "psychic" shortly afterwards with his sister (my aunt) and they purposely told the lady nothing at all regarding any details that could clue her in... and yet somehow.. she knew that my fathers truck tire was flat for the past week... which is a completely random thing to "get as a message from the other side"... Because of THAT though, I felt that somehow, our "conscience/soul/energy" continues on after death in some way, shape or form.. at least for some sort of time frame.

So seriously.... does ANYONE honestly KNOW what happens once our body shuts down? (aside from that DMT brain activity part people talk about)

I guess I just need some peace of mind... who wouldn't?

SO give it to me straight.... do we just completely cease to exist ... or do we go to "heaven".... or reincarnate.. or just live on a different plane/dimension??

If you know, then your life would be for naught. The whole purpose of this experience is is not knowing what happens tomorrow. You wanted it. To feel what its like, to be mortal.

Ya know.... I've heard such intense stories from friends of mine who have done salvia and DMT trips... and how one of my friends saw "the lady" as he referred to it... and how when you're in that state for those few minutes... that you just know everything about everything that's going on... but you're basically not allowed to retain it...

I'm temped to try it, but I admit... i'm scared to.
Some people say they didn't know if they were gonna snap back to "reality" when they took it.... and i'm not sure if my mind should take the trip.. I have some pretty "deep abilities" when it comes to meditation and "zoning out" if you will....

Fuck it... I should just try it once. What the hell do I have to lose at this point... right?

Death looks like the start of a different process of life. We are stuck on a life recycling machine, we go in and out of the earth until it all ends. We can't get off it. We will exist in many different ways with many different levels of consciousness...if any. We have all been doing it for millions of years.

Everything is constant cycles..life and death is a constant breath of in and out. What life is trying to discover and where all of this is heading nobody knows. May'be life is the key and driving force of which the whole of creation gets to know itself...it's all very strange to me.

religious hierarchical systems are a facet of this galaxy game...it is only one of the methods employed to try and control the other players in this game...

it is very effective on those who are at a lower stage of experiential learning...But, completely discarded by those who have advanced to grasp a better understanding of this galaxy game...

note; this is not a negative connotation...it is what it is, and we all have to pass through these trials...

Don't fret it! You either die and you consciousness is gone - so you won't know or feel a thing...OR...your consciousness lives on and you will be FREE (for at least a while lol) of your physical ills.

we are not stuck, it is willing participation...

the problem is some have become addicted to the game, mainly those in positions of power...they are experiencing something they can not get away with outside of this galaxy game...power over others has become an addictive rush to them...

for others who are not so heavily addicted, we participate because there are valuable lessons we still need to accumulate...

where this is heading is to eventual graduation to experiences vastly different then galaxy games...participation in this game provides us with the ability to develop skills that are necessary to master in order to operate effectively in higher densities...

Yes there's life after death, but here's the thing, not everyone goes to Heaven. A lot of people go to Hell and they send themselves there by living in sin and not following God. Your mother should stay away from psychics. Yes they can tell you personal details like that because they consult with demons called familiar spirits. Familiar spirits study an individual and can then feed all kinds of information to a psychic or witch with the purpose of deception. Dealing with psychics like this is condemned in the Bible so in the future your mother should stay away from them. I just wanted to first give you that warning for you and your mother's well being.

I'll share some of my experiences with you regarding the supernatural. First, I'm currently Catholic and have been for my entire 34 years of life. I'm a part of a family of mostly Catholics with a few agnostics mixed in. The spiritual side of life has always been a part of my life. I started receiving dreams from God as early as age 4 and both my parents (mostly my father) were blessed to receive visions, dreams, and words of knowledge from God for the entire duration of my life. In my early 20s I wasn't following God that well so I went to God in prayer and started praying the rosary with the intention to feel love for God. Prior to that I felt more like a respect for God and went to church because I thought it was the right thing to do. After about two weeks of praying the rosary, one night I received a powerful outpouring of the holy spirit. First it came as peace while I was praying then I felt a great love for God and wanted nothing more than to be in heaven with him. At the same time I was given awareness of my sinfulness and felt shame for my sin. I was sobbing in tears of joy throughout this experience. I know that this came from God and it really started me on a path of spiritual growth that still continues to this day.

In 2014 I was growing close to the lord, going to daily mass, frequent confession, and praying both the rosary and chaplet of divine mercy multiple times on a daily basis. During this time I was attacked by demons and developed psychosis as a result of the attack. What many people don't realize is mental illness can develop from demonic attack. During this period I was hearing voices in my head constantly. I thought I was demon possessed for some time and that I needed an exorcist. I lost my job, crashed my car, was detained by police multiple times and went in and out of hospitals. I now have to be on anti-psychotic medication for the rest of my life. Throughout this period I was suffering terribly, but God showed me he was with me on multiple occasions. One day when I was attending mass I received the eucharist (holy communion) and shortly afterwards I was filled with this great peace that silenced all of the voices and suffering I was feeling. For those few moments God let me know he was with me and that he was in control. Some time later I was experiencing the same thing when I went to confession, the voices going nonstop and again as the priest obsolved me of my sins, the great peace filled me for a few moments and the voices were silenced once again. God once again let me know he was with me through my struggle and that he is greater than any sickness that afflicts us.

These are just a few of the experiences I've had from God. I can't fully put into words what it's like experiencing these things. I hope that you come to follow God as I have and that he reveals himself to you as well so you know there is life after death.

religion is a false construct of what really is...

if you have really seen your source, what you call god, then you will be outside looking at an oval luminescent being with energy tentacles extending out through the bottom...

if you are very advanced, then you can be inside with a 360 degree luminescence all around you...

religion is pure deception, although many are well intention-ed... the story they tell could only be effective on a spirit who is advancing, but, not very advanced...

Re: Has anyone figured out what happens when we die? Seriously?
Have you ever woken up from a dream at night and been relieved to realise it was just a dream and not real life?

If you’re lost in the jungle and you see a lion then you will feel fear. It is the same fear in the dream state as it is in real life. It’s the same energy.

My point here is that the experience in the dream state can feel just as real as the experience in real life.

It is very interesting to notice how in a dream you create the subject object split. That is to say you create yourself, the experiencer, and you create the things you are experiencing, but it really feels as though you the subject is separate from the objects you are experiencing when in fact you are all one. The witness (the dreamer/the creator) and the subject and the object are all one entity.

It’s the same here in the waking state.

Everyone sooner or later feels insecure, alienated and despondent and thinks there must be more to me than this. Then we search for God.

We are searching for our self because self is our source of power and goodness; it’s the self that is running the show and not me, the subject (my temporary creation).

Deep down we know the self is permanent and nothing can touch it.

The self is true, wholesome and good, made of love. Any negativity in us is acquired, created through ignorance.

Of course to think about this and to realise this and to become this (an eternal being) are different things. It requires some considerable spiritual effort.

Maggot food. Deep down we all know it's true. It makes me sad too. Don't kill the messenger.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73753496

Nope, sorry, that's not true. This world isn't random. We are here for a reason. There is no such thing as a coincidence.

Everything has a purpose.
 Quoting: cecropia

Why don't one of you people go ahead and tell us this "reason" that we are here for? I'm tired of hearing about the reason and none of you know what it is. That's what we call bullshit in the real world. Do you need a shovel?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68730242

The reason we are all here is simply to break up the monotony of existing for eternity. We get bored as disembodied beings. We already know all the secrets of the universe. We are desperate for something new and different.

Can you imagine the true hell of living one life then spending fucking FOREVER on your knees worshipping some god? Or even more stupid and nonsensical. ..living one life and spending the rest of eternity frying in a lake of fire? Give me a break from that contrived scare tactic mentality!

We are all souls of light and heat. Our interaction with each other creates the forces of our eternal existence. Earth, other planets, other timelines, and constantly keeping in the various games we invent keeps us from the pain of eternal boredom!

All the good we do is done to experience anew the feelings we have. All the bad we do is also to change up our different scenarios because to eternal souls change is always good.

In our light state we do not feel the pain we caused was wrong...we know we will suffer just as much at some opportunity. It is all over with the death and the reminiscing begins with all our friends who shared the adventures.

So the answere is simple to why we are here...to keep ourselves always entertained and involved.

Re: Has anyone figured out what happens when we die? Seriously?
You will become a spirit form. All of your actions/deeds that you have done while in this physical realm, will be counted for or against you. It doesn't "end" when you leave the physical world. That is why religion is so dangerous; it gives the false impression that it takes away accountability. It doesn't. No person nor animal can atone for your own actions. YOU PAY.

But you can visit your family members on the other side now, while you are in still alive in flesh form; I have visited my own Ahmma (Mother) on the other side. I visited with her not too long after she passed over. She was not very happy about having to transition, so our conversation was not long, but she will grow accustomed to it; she has no choice. I also saw others there who were friends of mine in my youth, but I didn't even know that they had passed over until I saw them there.

You will know that you are in the "right place" if you arrive there and the spirits are all dressed in white long garments. And the only ones who will converse with you are your own immediate relatives. The spirits are instructed to not communicate with the living, so if you are allowed to visit them, as I was, then only your immediate relatives will speak to you. The other spirits there, who I did not know in this life, treated me as though I was not there, even though I could sense that they were aware of my presence.

They also converse telepathically, so it will take a few seconds for them to realize that you can't hear them. Ha!Ha! My Ahmma realized that as well. But they can move their mouths if they choose too. They also move about over there freely. Murderers, etc. are sent to a different "place". Not a "hell" but a different type holding cell (that's the only way I know in English to describe it). We say it differently in my Indigenous American language.

Re: Has anyone figured out what happens when we die? Seriously?
There is a judgement.

Many will experience the second death.

Few will survive.

99.9% of the people you see on TV etc will be gone forever.

For the few, paradise.

It depends on what your mind is doing before and during. So adopt a good mantra or short prayer and repeat it non stop to train your mind to be one-pointed, or by some other good means.

I once fainted after a bike accident hurt my leg.

All I can say is when it's time to turn off or get out of these flesh suits you have zero choice!

I'm also Christian and believe Jesus comes for his own.
I once got a really bad flu for 48 hours.
I just remember no matter where I was I'd of slept or passed out on the spot as it kicked in.

Dying ain't no thing sadly it's how you die I think people have a problem with.

My sister was fully aware before she passed.
She had last rights and repented - half hour later she just went.

 Quoting: william 72648462

..and yet God chose to reveal himself to me through the Catholic religion. I think that speaks volumes.
 Quoting: GLP Effect

you miss the nature of reality.

there is not just one god, if you want to use that term. there are many, all at different levels in their experiential progression.

the one god concept is a farce. introduced to keep you away from within to find the only source that means anything to you. find this out, and no one would be able to control you.

this knowledge is the biggest threat to the control paradigm on this planet. they will do anything to keep you away from it.

I will refer you to Robert Munroe, brought up earlier in this thread.

he describes these areas in the astral as belief system constructs. every belief system that ever was exists in the astral as the spirits maintain it by giving their energy to hold it's form. in time, the constructs disappear as the followers drift away.

similar to any paradigm physical or astral. when the energy is withdrawn, it fades away

Re: Has anyone figured out what happens when we die? Seriously?
The concept of heaven and hell and judgement appeared since the dawn of men. From hinduism to buddhim from judaism to christianity etc. That is as far as human history goes the concept appeared. People naturally know sin is bad and seeking forgiveness is how we try and reconcile ourselves back to when our lives were still holy and pure before we fell from our holy habitations where everything was in perfect individual relationship with God and lived happy and satisfying lives. After sinning we screw that perfect bubble up for ourselves

The atheist claim the first men were probably crazy I say all the doctrine is there for anyone to catch up on and learn

I think the best way of explaining it is karma in a way we all get what we deserve in the end of our life and with God all things are possible :)

Heaven, reincarnation, hell for some i suppose, etc

I do believe Christ died for the world for anyone seeking to reconcile. For repentance, forgiveness. I think its a given chance we have for anyone looking to get back to God.

**Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?**

The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
