They are working their hardest to omit books and non-electronic media references too. Look at all the Kindle type apps that exist. Kids nowadays couldn't use a card catalog in a library if they had to, I don't belive. Nearly all the schools have Tablets (electronic) that they use in place of books. Encyclopedias are practically obsolete. All the news can be read for free on your cell phone. Now, what happens when those electronics can't be charged up? It's all gone. Without books, history is erased and ignorance becomes commonplace. History is what makes a culture. Culture makes unity. Without these things, a dictator easily takes over.
