World Juniors Canadian Hockey team snowflakes - silver medal isn't "being rewarded"

Criticizing Canadian hockey players must be some form of a hate crime. After maple syrup and mooses it's all we got man!
Think aboot it.

The whole World Jr hockey tournament is geared towards letting the Canadians win.
4 times in the last 7 years the tournament was held in Canada and once in Buffalo NY where Canadian fans could easily cross the border and did, outnumbering the US fans by 3 to 1. So basically Canada had home ice advantage in 5 of the last 7 tournaments. Next year is in Buffalo again.

The refs call penalties on Canada's opposition at key times in the games so Canada gets the advantage in powerplays too.
Last nights game had Canada with 7 powerplays compared to 2 for the States.
Same with the Sweden game.

All sports is rigged. It's all about the money and since Canada is the only nation that cares or knows this tournament exists, the organizers put it in Canada to sell the most tickets and get TV revenue and in return Canada gets to go far in the tournament.

It's all a joke.
Then the Canadians cry because they don't win gold like they feel they deserve.

Lol i do agree it is rigged to an extent for profits (tournament held in canada or close to) but realistically take a look at the nhl and see how many canadians are in there.. Hockey is a way of life up here for 1/2 to 3/4 of the people. Children are in skates literally right after they learn to walk. Irregardless of what u say i believe canada produces some of the best hockey players in the world and this is from a guy that doesnt watch professional sports an isnt a cheer leader for grown ass men.
