I still regret not buying when it was 1=1 with the USD. Listened to my parents advice LOL they said it was a dumb idea. With what i woulda invested in it, i would've had over 2 mill.

DAMN YOU BITCOIN LOL
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34535399

Hop back on the train... It's going to $1mill ya know. Second chances don't come along every day.

The naysayers here... Just ignore them. If they could see, from outside, the dangerously sorry state of just about every nation's economy on earth these days, and if they had the slightest idea of how the blockchain works, they'd realize how yuge of a safe haven this is looking to become in the coming months. Why is the price per bitcoin rising? Bc increasingly people are dumping usd and other foreign currency for the safety, ease, fee-less, secure, private, bitcoin option. In less than a month over $1bill more has been invested in btc worldwide. That's not make-believe. It's not perfect, there are other cryptocurrencies getting closer to that unreachable ideal, but it is pretty darn hard to argue it's worse than what we've got... Given present states.

Seriously remember the dot com bust. This is a unit that has no backing of any kind. You mine them with a math algorithm and it magically appears. When it gets backed with gold/silver then it will have true worth. Until then, well good luck.

Bitcoin is pulling back now @ $999.00 - $997.00 This pull back was predicted by many. Some Investors are taking their profits, the Seers are holding on tight.

Look for the $888.00 level or even $840.00 before seeing a rebound back over $1000.00 and beyond, most likely before the Chinese New Years, near the end of this month. Bitcoin will rebound, because of the #WarOnCash and because it is a tradable commodity, world wide!

Bitcoins are limited in number and cannot be created without some effort, or I should say, by the whim of their creators. Bitcoins are not Dollar Bills and not meant to be tender that can be controlled or manipulated by persons or Governments!

And to anyone griping about not being able to get real money (usd) with it? Jesus just go here:

[link to www.coinbase.com (secure)]

Make yourself $10 (and me $10) in btc for using that link and then proceeding to deposit money in btc at coinbase. Very easy... Pays a month membership here.

It is as easy as a click to transfer money to and from bank accounts and credit cards. ezezez

Very true. So many stories of people losing their keys or harddrives and losing everything... Those coins are just floating around out there in the ethereum never to return. It aint like that anymore, or at least does not need to be (though for security it is a good idea to keep the blockchain and your part in it on a harddrive too). Like an earlier poster said, bitcoin is as easy as online banking now.

My estimate of 10-12 million is a conservative guess.
Those Bitcoins in China are never coming back to the States.

Every day, and in every way, the shit keeps getting deeper and deeper!

Re: Bitcoin; Reached Gold Parity @ $1183. ~ Page 10 - Then a $200 drop in 1 Hour, Page 11. Hmmm...
Ok Ok in all seriousness Bit coin is cool and all But I dont trust and wont ever use it - I feel like it is a precursor to forcing everyone into taking the microchip implant and accepting a cashless world currency - Of course that currency WILL NOT be bitcoin it will be a government controlled digital currency but you can see the point being valid about getting the sheep not only used to working for and using a digital currency that the elite will have "Total Control" over but having in increase like it is will also serve to get the herd Excited to do so -

Im sorry but the Mark of the beast will come to you in increments over a little bit of time and you will gladly accept it -

The bible quite clearly outlines what will happen, and I have two quick points to make about it.

1) the mark will be on the forehead or forearm and nothing will be bought without it. Does this sound like bitcoin? No, nobody's forcing anyone to do anything to their bodies, and there are many other currencies with purchasing power. There is no incrimentality to it, very black and white in its description in Revelations.

2) if the bible is true then why resist the story it tells? It's all according to plan. I draw the line at implanting anything into my body, or being marked in any way outside of my own doing/choosing. I see btc as a movement away from an issuing/minting/centralized authority capable of... Which I feel Revelations outlines.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light

What the hell does that mean?

Do you have any idea the amount of paranoid drug buyers on local bitcoins who are willing to pay more than what the market price goes for?

A person will spend $100 dollars just to get $50-60 worth of bitcoins.
