You're right on this, unless there is job expansion in the US outside of the service sector things are going to remain rough for a lot of people.

America will thrive for the sole purpose of sending out the Gospel of Christ.

There are technical solutions to most problems. I have greater faith in human ingenuity and creativity. We may well mine rare minerals from asteroids for example.

That is it, in a nutshell. Jobs need to be created in science, engineering and other professions. People need to receive an education that will prepare them for these types of jobs.

trump and the pope are peddling the same old worthless BS...masters at getting the masses to clamour and offer themselves as slaves to the most worthless and undeserving...its not about the economy or jobs stupids...

Then what is it about? Control?

Way-way-way back in time, they created major construction projects to keep the people busy and useful.

Look at all the megalithinc construction in the ancient past.

It wasn't just purely for the ego of their leaders...it gave people a purpose.

People sitting around eating and consuming and giving nothing back cannot go on forever.

We need a major, nationwide construction program.

My idea...

A system of lakes and reservoirs and aqueducts and pipelines. it could help with water management and flood control in areas that get too much rain and be used to transport water to areas that are not getting enough.

Would cost a pile of money and put 10's of thousands or more to work.

Or...something similar. Doesn't need to be a monument, pyramid or a temple or anything like that...

Just something useful that we could use....

Thanks to productivity hours worked need to be cut while the productivity gains should be passed on in salary.

First we must free ourselves from slavery.

By cutting ties to the FED and the inefficient energy sector and allowing free energy technology to flourish. we will not have to work nearly as much because life essentials will be so cheap.

Yes, this seems to be reasonable but will require a decision by management in cooperation with government to effectively implement.
