I like this version from VJ Anubis

chuckle

i like this paragraph from wiki
Archeologists identified the sacred animal of Anubis as an Egyptian canid, that at the time was called the golden jackal, but recent genetic testing has caused the Egyptian animals to be reclassified as the African golden wolf.

and about the african golden wolf:
In 2015, a series of analyses on the species' mitochondrial DNA and nuclear genome demonstrated that it was in fact distinct from both the golden jackal and the grey wolf, and more closely related to grey wolves and coyotes.

Anyway:
This reminds me of Apollo Lykeios :-)

Durdle meaning drill or bore.

I did come across this door

[link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)]

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I've been to the Statue of Liberty many times as a kid and I don't really recall the broken shackles on her feet. It is said abolition was sought as a way to eliminate immortality. It gave a different spin on what is considered immortal through time that is considered repressive.
Golden door sounds like door on fire:P

I guess that if you manage to turn Liberty into a Mother, then there is no more need to point to broken shackles.
Those would've been a symbol for liberty, but a mother would endure the shackles without broken them for the sake of her kids.
So the next question is: how much liberty comes with a maternal job ?

Anyway... here is a song for those invisible broken shackles :-)
