Whatever Professor. We had fun on here with guess that tune. And that was like three years ago. Muah lol ;) I grow and sell baby trees now, no professor of any PTB dogma. ;-`) I know. That's what you were going for and you did it. Very proud of you and much respect |

It's all about the length of the fiber, that determines how dangerous it is. And if some of it does get into the body, it gets encapsulated , not causing a problem. According to one researcher, the only time asbestos has ever caused a problem with people, is if they were tobacco smokers, otherwise not a problem. Loose asbestos in the air has a slightly sweet smell, and despite me working with it over 30 years ago, I never developed asbestoses. Fears of the toxicity of asbestos are highly overblown. It's an excellent insulator that won't break down, because it is a naturally fibered silica stone. “Queen Sarah, save us from the Black Dog King!” - from the play, Dissocia [link to tasaonline.org.au (secure)] "Never be anyone's French poodle." - Mr Hamilton |

Quoting: wisc_natureboy But in 2018, building owners must have a remediation plan to remove it! What the FUCK? This is asinine. Pretty sure USA stopped using almost all asbestos in 1989. Be careful if you're buying buildings in Canada! In the UK The Asbestos (Prohibitions) (Amendment) Regulations 1999, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Prescott, came into force on November 24, 1999 five years ahead of the European deadline. Asbestos is evil stuff. Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |
