This is what I don't understand about US elections. How on Earth can they vote if they aren't in the system (i.e. no ID)?

Elections can't work if there's no registry of the eligible voters and a flag telling in real time if they have voted already.

We have to show chipped ID or passport, and the database keeps a count on who has voted and who hasn't.

They just had an interview on CNN with Lessig and a R elector who says he's reconsidering based on Trump's performance SINCE the election. (This is so he isn't accused of fraud for signing up to be an elector before the election.)

They say they have 20 R electors who are changing their votes from Trump. Who knows if that's true.
