Merry Meet and welcome my sister.

I agree with much said here. The caution is a good thing.

Magic is a wondrous thing, and yes it isn't gotten with books, truly natural and not a cursed thing at all. I enjoy it myself, similarly with kin, though alone. We are probably more in number if we came out of hiding and held each other's hands in unity.

Tuatha De Danaan. .that was then this is now. We all have common history but the past has gone, we remember as children at the feast, but the ancients have gone.

It is God who suffered them, though He restrained them

they landed with horror, with lofty deed,
in their cloud of mighty combat of spectres,
upon a mountain of Conmaicne of Connacht.

Without distinction to descerning Ireland,
Without ships, a ruthless course
the truth was not known beneath the sky of stars,
whether they were of heaven or of earth.

Cheap way: do you have living relatives? Ask them where you came from.
Expensive way: You could pay for a DNA test.

If you want to potentially be admitted to the Order, you'd have to go with the latter. If you don't care about that, it's your call.
 Quoting: Alice Cricket

well, I doubt that I could ever be part of the order which asks for DNE tests and not human quality. I dont see a reason.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73603912

I understand your feelings on the matter. Trust me, I do. But that's the way they are, and they are very strict about it. They consider it to be an ethnic pride thing, not a matter of racism, but bloodline purity is everything to them. They think it's the only way to perpetuate magick, being as it lives in the genes/blood, and if you can't prove lineage, you are just an unknown entity to them, not worthy of loyalty.
 Quoting: Alice Cricket

I have wondered if this is why Mormons are so into genealogy. Or is that more of a Merovigian thing? For that matter, how are those bloodlines linked? Any info on that?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71572355

It's a big reason they keep such extensive genetic records, yes. I don't think that the Mormons are connected to the lineage of Danaan, but they have similar reasons for their record keeping - it's a spiritually motivated pursuit.

It is absolutely a Merovingian thing, but the bloodline has nuances and history that predates the Merovingians - but which, as I am sure most of you are aware, the Merovingians are a part of.

Thank you for addressing that. I noticed you speak about "these women" with abilities. Is that force only available to the feminine or is that just the more common scenario? I ask because I am male and have been aware of certain extra perception and/or apparent influence of events throughout my life and I think my family may be descendant of the masculine side. My mother's grandmother was known to see events and even shake the kitchen table at times, without obvious physical action.

No, it's absolutely a male trait too. Everybody just associates the word "witch" with females because of its connotation. I guess you could call males of the blood "wizards", but it doesn't matter what word you use. They also have psychic abilities of great power when they are of the blood.

There are differences between males and females of the blood but the ability to practice magick and use it with great power is present in both genders.

That is why great care was taken to breed within the bloodlines.

I don't support any church, it is the empathy of my people which extended to encompass all of humanity which led to our eventual demise. We were too generous with our power.

Now that we have been decimated, the pattern-weavers, the mori, the age of magick has been ended for centuries, and earth has lost those who speak for her. Your churches and your inquisitions have led to nothing but bloodshed and pointless slaughter.

But some of us still remain, and there is magick in our blood, we are the children of the gods. Slavish obedience to your false demiurge has led you nowhere but to a world run by spiritually vapid money hungry fools.

Support to you my sister .
Lands end Cornish Celts only a few of us left from that original tribe.

People wonder why i am belligerent to the church , i was hauled off to a Catholic school in Penzance believe me they seriously tried to beat the Celtic beliefs out of me but at every chance offered me an easy path to redemption through christening which i refused,,,so continued the beatings and humiliation.

I was lucky enough to have been taught our history and culture and i live by it.

Always raises my spirit to see or hear another Celtic cousin
