before President Trumps sets foot inside im recommending a full scale remodel of the whitehouse

Tear down all interior drywall to studs and replace studs and new drywall

Tear out all flooring to cement and remove replace cement and install new flooring

Tear out all wood work and paint and replace with concrete

Burn everything removed and have the remains burred deep below nuclear waste materials

the white house is not a "home" - it is a tourist trap - would YOU want to raise your kids in downtown DC? really - it is a two hundred year old DUMP - in the worst part of town ... I applaude Trump for NOT supjecting his family to that hostile environment ... and to tell you the truth, I never imagined that he would live there - for one moment - the White house needs to be remolded - or just opened to the public as a "historic" building - that has out lived its purpose

move the capital out of the swamp - to Denver or some other CENTRAL location - that can be better protected ... how about Iron Mt (snicker)

Yeah. Fuck you. Trump's wife and son are 50X more safe from harm in Trump Tower. I suspect that is Trump's number one consideration considering the outrageous level of threats of violence to himself and his family.

And don't forget it has been occupied by section 8 tenants for the last eight years.

This makes me uneasy. Not sure why? Melania was not really present during the campaign and now she won't be moving in the WH.

I realize she wants to do what SHE thinks is best but it feels like marriage instability to me.

It does NOT say they will never be moving into the White House! What exactly IS the problem. I'd do that for my children so they could finish the school year.

True, but I did a Google check on the story and some of them say she will not be moving there at all and that Trump will spend little time there himself.

I think living in the WH would be an honor. I also think he ran on family values and now I am not sure they have any.

Just me but with all the history there I could stay busy for hours. But then I have never been a privileged elitist like Melania Trump.

Trumps son was damaged from vaccines, he is a very brilliant child but has special needs and a familiar atmosphere is extremely important for him to to feel safe and thrive. His mother is a momma first and looks to do only what best for her son. I see no issue in this arrangement and am very happy to see how much she loves to be a mom!!
