Yeah, that's pretty dumb. If someone is smart enough to retire & move somewhere where they can actually use their retirement to live on, let them. What is sad is that they have to do that if they don't want to have to choose between rent & food/medicine.

I'd have to agree that the bigger problem is the people coming in from other countries sending back their paychecks to their home countries.... Although I'm sure that is warranted in many cases.

First, Congratulations…

The FTC has created a nightmare for the entire Network Marketing profession.

Final decisions on cases are made by 2 existing democrats, 2 republicans, and 1 person to be appointed by you.

These cases set a precedent moving forward. The recent Herbalife decision will severely affect millions of entrepreneurs in over 700 companies if customer percentage requirements are implemented and enforced. Furthermore, their plan is to not include distributor product purchases toward customer volume.

The profession was fine the way it was, since the 1950’s and is now in the process of being destroyed. The one person you appoint can make or break an entire profession.

The insane red-tape in existence (and proposed) does not allow small entrepreneurs to survive, let alone compete with other industries selling similar product outside of Network Marketing.

As a side-effect, other decisions made by the same committee would release the stranglehold big pharmaceutical companies have over the entire field of alternative medicine.

I would also be gracious if you were to repeal or revise “Operation Chokehold”. It has effected legitimate businesses (like mine) which have nothing to do with illegal prescription sales, online gambling, etc. We were a growing business. In 2014 we lost the capability to process credit cards due to this drastic rule.

I know you understand the network marketing industry well. You have co-authoreshep supporterk with Robert Kiyosaki. Not to mention, Carl Icahn is Herbalife’s biggest investor.

The FTC has also stuck their claws into the direct mail industry recently. I’ve used direct mail to successfully build my business since 1987. As of October 2016, it has become impossible to cut through the red tape and continue. List rental companies will not even rent names out.
