Or your computer OS? NEVER Good point. I didn't even latch onto that.  The touch screen does require calibration, but should only take one time at first start up or maybe when software is updated. It's the second one that is worrisome as that is how they "rig" a machine. If there are updates being applied in the middle of the voting day... we have a problem. This has been addressed later in the thread. How often does your ATM machine touch screen error due to touch screen miscalibration and give you $10 rather than $20? How often does your drivers license touch screen test mistaken your 15-25 answers and fail you? |

The only difference, instead of a red light next to who you voted for, we have a green X. I noticed the guy didn't push the little box with the number 101 in it, that would have turned off the red light for Hillary and then he could push the little box with the number 201 in it to vote again for Trump. Basically each little box with numbers in them are each ON & OFF buttons like a light switch, so if you pick the wrong person by mistake you need to re-push the number button to turn off your selection, and push the button next to the person/s your voted for. That's a sensible answer. thanks! They probably mistakenly hit the wrong button the first time. There should be a public video or something showing before hand how it works so people knew ahead of time, if it's somewhat confusing. Why so secretive? Or instructions in the booth for the machines like they have on paper ballots. It wouldn't surprise me if there are instructions in the booth but people just don't look. |
