Another senior State Department official, Thomas W. Lawrence, wrote days later in an email that deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin personally was asking for an update about the repairs. Abedin and Clinton, who both used Clinton’s private server, had complained that emails each sent to State Department employees were not being reliably received. And her boss, who she and others talked to about it, said he never had that conversation when he was questioned, and he took the 5th. Not a smoking gun, but docs show the Clinton email server being used by her and being unsecure was discussed by IT personnel in 2010. Her name was in one of the released emails, but no FBI agent or reporter ever questioned her. PV is basically concluding that FBI was not really interested in a thorough investigation. Not sure I agree with their conclusion based on this woman, but that's why they posted it. To me, it seems PV is reaching here. |

Hillary VERY deliberately did not have an Inspector General in the State Dept during her entire tenure. It was "the longest gap since the position was created in 1957" according to an article written last year. [link to uk.advfn.com] The IG appointment should have been made by Obama but he failed to ever bring forth a nomination until after Clinton left office. "Others say President Obama’s failure to nominate an IG for State could mean he was covering for Clinton — or at least willing to look the other way."
