Crusades were UNAUTHORIZED non-Christian war.

Who represent Christians?

A Political-religious figure in Europe called "Roman Emperor". Whos authority was sacred and who was responsible
for ALL Christians before GOD.

Only he had authority to appoint:

1. Bishop of Rome
2. Bishop of Constantinople
3. Bishop of Jerusalem
4. Bishop of Alexandria
5. Bishop of Antioch


Now what happened?

German invaders from North have conquered Northern Italy from Romans and decided that it is in their good favor to convert to Christianity and appoint their own Bishop of Rome.

They have figured out: "Why convert to Christianity, if we cannot control a Bishop of Rome = pope?"

So they have decided, let's remove appointed Bishop of Rome = Zachary and let's appoint someone who will bid our favor.

And within a few years they have removed a Pope appointed by Roman Emperor and installed a new one... A GERMANIC POPE who has in revenage against Romans decided to proclaim a GERMAN as Roman Emperor, namely Charlemagne.

Everyone in Constantinople laughed .. it was beyond funny .. because those people were considered "barbarians" and everyone in Constantinople knew that Popes cannot proclaim Emperors, it is Emperor who proclaim Pope.

That all happened in 7-8 century.

In 10 century same those Germanic peoples with Their pope have declared a Crusades.

While Roman Emperors DID partake in first Crusades (for political reasons to defend against Turks) they knew that Crusades and Pope in Rome had nothing to do with Christianity because they were installed against Christian rulings and were not in jurisdiction of Emperor.

That's Catholicism = a non Christian Sect with enormous influence of paganism.
