ALERT: Major Websites HACKED DDos Attack against Etsy, Twitter, Shopify, Soundcloud, etc...

I have a business on Etsy and was not able to pull up the site for a few hours now! Googled if it was down and came upon the news from today about a cyber attack that took many major website OFFLINE completely!!! Anyways, I'm waiting t out but it's really frustrating because Etsy and Ebay is where my income comes from...

"Starting at 11:10 UTC on October 21th-Friday 2016 we began monitoring and mitigating a DDoS attack against our Dyn Managed DNS infrastructure. Some customers may experience increased DNS query latency and delayed zone propagation during this time. Hacker News users report the following sites are down:

Twitter
Etsy
Github
Soundcloud
Spotify
Heroku
Pagerduty
Shopify
Intercom

Trying to connect to all of those sites indeed proved fruitless this morning. Zoho, SaneBox, and iHeart Radio also appear to be down on my end, in New Hampshire. Your mileage may vary, however, as Dyn says the connectivity issues are largely limited to the east coast. "
