Greek minister: "We’ve done our part. Now it’s time to discuss debt relief" oh thanks mods. euro is moving and going lower and lower since april. It may crashed to its low in 1,04. if that level fails...then it`s doom for the euro. on a weekly basis...it is a bit oversold. but it can `keep going lower more. monthly charts pointing to a potential visit of the 1,04$ level for the euro ( EURUSD) |

Sadly, a Grexit will not occur (even if that is the best thing for Greece in the long run). Their leaders are unwilling to make that change. There are other much bigger players about to leave the Euro-Zone that will do infinitely more harm to the EU than a Grexit. The frontrunner in the French polls (Marine Le Pen) wants out of the Euro. When France leaves the Euro, it's game over. |

The act of doom however is frightening. One only has to look at Venezuela eating zoo/stray animals to know how bad things can get... I wouldn't wish doom on anyone, even though they may deserve it. You cock-gobblers just steal resources from others, you wouldn't exist without plain stealing! The longest work hours in Europe and the 2nd in the OECD countries. They work over 2000 hours per annum. Compare that to Germany's 1400 or so. The USA is about 1800. [link to www.oecd-ilibrary.org] They pay 22.% of GDP in taxes and for a relative lowly paid country that's quite a lot. Compare that to Germany's 11.5% and the USA's 10.6%. The people who dodge tax in Greece and other countries are almost the wealthy and are very difficult to apprehend. Some pathetic countries are even incapable of apprehending known tax dodgers where the bill paid would be in the $ hundreds millions/billions. [link to data.worldbank.org] As for defaulting. They're not the only European country to do so. Most of these defaults seem to be due to some war or crisis. [link to en.wikipedia.org] |
