how ridiculous is it they have someone carrying the nuclear football around with them all the time, next to the president. Someone could just hit that thing with a .50 cal barret sniper rifle, with exploding bullet and destroy the thing couldn't they? Or an RPG, so what then? the nuclear war gets called off?
