Normally this spare fund of savings is only very sparsly used.
That can change if the need is high.
I expect your government to do just that. Otherwise they will be slaughtered in the streets, not just lose their cosey jobs.

We have higher costs of living here, and people of course have no access to that enormous fund.

Haha barns for cows etc are not really heated. Animals give off heat. Pig barns maybe. Cows love cold weather. The subsidies are intricately measured out to keep consumer prices down and were introduced when valmue added tax was introduced in the kingdom, to offset the effect of value added tax. Still, food costs are higher than for example in neighboring Sweden. Pay is a lot higher than in Sweden, so Swedes cannot afford more food than us.
The people living off the state is about the same as everywhere , for the same reasons, like disability .

The cost of one liter og bensin, gas for cars, is like 27kr and 23kr for diesel. Farmers diesel almost as much.
10kr is about 1 euro or one dollar
So, one gallon is about 7 and 6
Much is climate tax- CO2 that the forest is sucking up right away. Most of the country is covered in mountains and forest.

Something that needs transmuting, is the aminopyralid or the likes of it, like klopyralid, problem. It entered the small gardens as ecologic fertilizer, because those were contaminated by compost that contain weed killers. Horse manure is especially tricky, as hay is often contaminated with aminopyralid wed killer. It is not broken down during digestion or composting. Charles Dowding has a couple of videos on this problem.
It can probably be broken down by spreading the compost in the sunshine for a time. We need it to be broken down much faster.
This is a problem with small gardens that can get horse manure, but also fertilizers and compost can be contaminated. It does not hurt the grass family like grass or grains or corn. I think some kind of beets tolerate it too.

This is not high on my list of priorities, will look into it later.
