Here we are again grumpier, heart attacks, heart failure , etc. Etc. Since I started this give ,only give for there's been no take I had a very vivid dream I was in ancient Jerusalem I was speaking to a rabbi, when a young women she looked around 14 but was really sixteen with a baby in her arms approach the rabbi and me she stop and looked up at me because I was rather tall for the times and she gave me the baby in full confidence, I found this strange ,how did she know I could be trusted my knees shook I asked the rabbi who is the young women ? He answered Mary, I then asked who is the baby I had in my arms the rabbi answered his name is Jesus. I swear I believe I would die, yet did not there where children and adults around us and the baby Jesus spread his right hand towards the crowd and began to preach the Gospel.

I would say, AC, that you are not "poor soul" who has been left out in the cold by your advisor, helper or "guru". It is fine to follow someone in order to learn, but the final goal is not to follow but to be completely sovereign. Some gurus, for example Krishnamurti, deliberately dissolve their organizations if they see themselves acquiring too much power or influence. The best thing a guru can do is to make a mistake or disappear so that the followers start to become independent and think for themselves.

Jesus did not come to save others: he came to inspire them to become like himself, striving for perfection in a godly manner. So however much appreciated Grumpier may be, and however much help he has provided, it may at this time be appropriate for him to retire into the shadows, for whatever reason. Just guessing, but nothing happens by chance. It is all intended to continue the learning process. Much love to everyone on this thread, including Grumpier with heart-felt wishes for his good health.
