Protester (Justin Carr) shot last night has died - Charlotte, NC riots

A man shot in uptown Charlotte during a protest over the fatal police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott has died, Observer news partner WBTV reported on Thursday.

The station quoted sources close to the family of victim Justin Carr, 26.

Carr was shot in the head at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 130 block of East Trade Street, according to a police report, WBTV reported.
