Anonymous Coward User ID: 72994531 United States 09/20/2016 10:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | While Star Trek-style teleportation is still a long way off, (Yeah right!)researchers have revealed a major breakthrough in the field of quantum travel. Quoting: HolySpiritWind Two separate teams have transferred quantum information over several miles of fibre optic networks in an urban network. The results could lead to more secure bank accounts, a faster internet and possibly even open the door to the controversial idea of human teleportation. Quantum teleportation depends on a phenomenon called quantum entanglement, which allows connections to be made between atoms, with their information being sent to others far away. The entangled particles are connected in such a way that the action of one directly affects the others, even if they are separated over large distances. Albert Einstein called this 'spooky action at a distance.' Previous studies have shown atoms teleporting across a room, and light being teleported across the Danube River in Austria. Now two separate studies, published today in Nature Photonics, have shown quantum teleportation is feasible through optical fibres across cities. The new research is a step towards building a 'quantum internet', which would be faster, more efficient and more secure than the networks we rely on today. Exactly, the neat thing about NMS is that it is all generated by a location seed so that anyone in the same location will generate the same game data, while still being procedural. But it is a single player game so nobody will ever be in the same location of the game as another player. Are you suggesting that each player in their own one player universe will generate the same planet, environment, life-forms, etc, on every computer players experience? If you imply that all this ^ is actually working BECAUSE of your quantum bullshit "phisycs", then you HAVE TO, firstly present a NON ridiculous mathematics (in which inconvenient big or small infinities are "normalized") that will describe and predict observable "quantum stuff". Secondly you will invent AT LEAST one useful device derived from such an abstract mathematics (vomit) Why was this physics 'unanimously born' in a meeting of the 'creme de la creme' (Planck included) which was sponsored by the US army cabal, then immediately accepted by all the academics of the west without ANY serious validation ? Tesla, the greatest mind ever, the one to whom we really owe everithing today, the man who calculated the minimal critical mass for a nuke, the man who used to say about Einstein 'He is an idiot', well Tesla wasn't invited at that solvay meeting that ENDED our advancement in physics.
