I believed he wasnt allowed to survive, he isnt as corrupt and degenerate as the new tech freaks (Zuckerberg, Schmidt, or his nemesis Gates). Jobs still had his humanity to a degree, they were planning on mega death and transhumanism, I dont think Jobs stomached it, and met the end for it.
