Re: Has the doctor got me on too many meds?
Wow. Not a "dumb ass". I saved my dogs eyesight by giving her cyclosporine in her eyes for 12 years of her 14 year life. Excuse me for not knowing it has more than one use. I had to have this mixed to order and not just any pharmacy can do this. I paid over $100 out-of-pocket every six weeks so I'm pretty familiar with the name of the drug. I would do it all over again.

Re: Has the doctor got me on too many meds?
The doctor has me take the following:

Tramadol 100mg 4 X a day
Gabapentin 300mg 3 X a day
Naproxen 500mg 2 X a day
Amitriptyline 10-25mg at night
Co-codamol (30mg codeine & 500mg paracetamol) 2 pills 4 X a day
Cyclosporine 75mg 2 X a day

Are they trying to kill me?

They don't force-feed you those pills, OP. You take them willingly. The choice is yours.

What's wrong or what happened that you were prescribed all that medication?

Switch tram to Tramadol extended release, probably need to start with the 200mg dose and go up from there if needed
Use the reg tramadol 50mg as needed
ditch the gabapentin. That stuffs evil.
naproxen, yea sure thats understandable, use the safest nsaid.
amitryptaline, ditch if you can, never take anti depressants unless you must, or are actually clinically depressed, not just struggling in life. Too many people with life problems not brain problems, that need to be addressed are medicated with anti depressants. When someone dies, and you become sad, that's normal, but today, you're put on an antidepressant. I am not referring to your exact case here, just speaking in general terms.
co codamol, seems like a lot but maybe your pain level needs it.
cyclosporine, not sure why you are on it from the info provided so far.

Talk to your doctor about those things. Seems they are trying to help. Keep an eye on your liver with blood tests which your doctor is probably doing.

Doesnt sound like they are trying to kill you, sounds like they are trying to help, at least you're not being treated like a drug seeker. Lot of times now, people just trying to get help for legit pain are treated like junkies with nothing wrong even when they have imaging. I've heard horrible stories about that situation. Havent experienced it though.

Re: Has the doctor got me on too many meds?
I work with a doctor that was a veterinarian. We can legally say he cured arthritis and joint diseases in Pigs, but in humans the FDA does not allow supplements to be labeled a cure. Though after taking this stuff for my sciatica and degenerative disc disease I'm touching my toes again for the first time in 4 years! So YES YOU ARE ON TOO MANY DRUGS. The doctors don't know any better. All they do is give you surgery and throw drugs to manage your symptoms. The problem is the root cause...severe malnutrition.

I'm a crusader for Dr. Wallach who reversed over 900 diseases in animals and his formulas work in humans. I felt guilty not telling people about this stuff so I am hoping this will be the answer to your prayers because I know I was in tears from the pain and was praying to Jesus with tears in my eyes all the time for an answer. Sciatica and back pain is no fun.

Dr. Wallach's book "Rare Earths Cures" says that scoliosis is from a severe selenium deficiency when you were young.

The other problems you have he says are due to malnurishment and poor absorption. There is a video with Dr. Glidden on youtube about the 12 Bad Foods that you need to eliminate. Just that alone can cut down inflammation and get you absorbing again.

As for the correct amounts of what you are missing for nutrients. Its all based on your body weight...
This video explains how to tell how undernutrified you are:

You are category 2 for sure, but I want you to see this.

Let me know if you want the link to this stuff. I don't wanna be like a spammer. We network to help each other get free product and you can supplement your income once you break even too.

If you like to help people, get a testimonial first...mine is me, my sponsor and enroller are off a total of 30 prescription drugs! They were injured Navy veterans on all kinds of meds...okay here's the link

watch this to see how nutrient deficient you are:

might be legit, but I dont even give this type of stuff any of my time, the way its presented is the same as a million other scams. IF legit, needs a different presentation, or distribution. Seems like just another gimmick product.

I will ask doc about the er tramadols, I need gabapentin as its the only drug that eases my lower back, leg and foot pains. Cyclosporine is a DMARD, it protects your joints and bones from damage by suppressing your immune system. Ditching the amitriptyline as it does nothing for me anymore.

I dont know, I think I should leave it to the doctors to make the decision on what meds to take and what meds to reduce when I go for my next appointment.

Nobody cares about YOUR health as much as you do. Doctors bury their mistakes, and they admit to it. If you don't take responsibility AND control of YOUR health, you may not have any left.

Everything's a business model, and that includes medicine.

Arthritis is easy to cure.
Gerson Therapy!
Try it.
Plant based food and coffee enemas, twice a day for one month and your arthritis will be gone.

Re: Has the doctor got me on too many meds?
4 of those meds are for pain, one for depression and the last is for Organ rejection. If you are that messed up physically I would imagine these drugs are a necessity to survive.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72346438

Nope. I use them all for different types of pain except cyclosporine which I use for arthritis not organ rejection - its part of a group of drugs called DMARDs (Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs).
 Quoting: Tramadol Junkie

We deal with rheumatic issues here.
All of those pain meds are shite.
I suggest you find a different doctor.

Maybe, if you are looking to change things my advice would be not to anything that effects the brain quit suddenly. Reduce dose over time and try to maintain a positive and determined mindset if things get difficult.
