Gallup Poll for FEMA & Nuclear Disaster

Just wanted to mention that during the Gulf War when Sadaam was sending SCUDs into Israel, people were given gas masks. They put plastic over their windows to keep as much radiation out as possible if a nuke was sent or chemical weapons. A woman had a heater on in her home, must have been a gas heater and it killed her and her baby.

So, we are approaching winter in many parts of the country and need heat in some cases to survive. So if there were a nuclear disaster before next spring, we would be in the same position as that Israeli woman.

They say to close off all but one room with plastic. Well what about a bathroom or getting rid of the trash? It's an impossible situation.

I'm just saying that if you live in an area where a nuclear FF takes place, you have to get out, like they did at Fukushima and Chernobyl? Why are they asking if we have survival supplies? If the gov't is concerned, why aren't they handing out gas masks like the Israeli gov't did? Oh, right, Israel cares about her people.

The Nuclear attack will be on Rome, while the Pope and lots of Clergy are inside the Vatican. The plan is to erase the Roman Catholic Religion - and conveniently blame it to ISIS. The attack will be a false flag one. Along the attack will be a global "ISIS" calling to murder each and one of priests of the world. The idea is to left the catholics without rulers/pastors and services, allowing the muslim to be the greatest surviving and active religion of the whole globe.

The Government wants to know what supplies you have, just in case they would like to acquire it from you....

Had a very interesting phone call a bit ago. It was a Gallup poll on the behalf of FEMA about preparedness. It was general questions which I only answered as being interested, only being prepared to last 7 days if something happened. Generally, a so so questionnaire, that is until the last segment.

They asked questions about how prepared we were for a nuclear disaster. How likely it was for my area that one could happen. I said we didn't have nuclear plants in the area and if she was asking about nuclear attacks. Her response was odd. "It is a nuclear disaster and what that means to you. This is a nationwide survey and not all live close or near nuclear sites. That is why it is worded, NUCLEAR DISASTER." The questions were what would we do, would we be prepared, and would we know how to decontaminate.

Now, my question to you all is this: why would they even throw in a nuclear disaster?

No other scenario was suggestion, just nuclear. After I hung up, told my husband and he also thought it was very odd. Was it a warning???

I just wanted to make sure everyone on here knew about the Gallup poll and well, to get prepared a little if they aren't. Remember, Several European countries have been telling their people to be prepared, to stock up for two weeks.

I've heard that before. It seems like someone here said it. I checked and the article is tomorrow's edition and Putin just said it.

Very scary, because so many Americans think that Trump will take us to war and how do you get through to them, especially in two months? The only way she can win is if it's rigged which it will be...because TPTB want war and chaos.

My father was very scared during the Cuban Missile Crisis and I never thought I'd have to worry about something like that in my lifetime.

I grew up in the days of duck and cover. My school was the towns' designated shelter. They'd have drills all of the time. The sirens would be blaring and the baseball fields would fill up with cars. People from all over town would be running in with their kids. The teachers would lead us students down to the basement first. We all had to keep hold of each others hands because they would turn the lights off to make it as real as possible. The lunch room was down there too and was the designated OR.

You know it just sounded like the normal FEMA preparedness month stuff for most of the poll. Just the end that was different. None of the paperwork I have seen handed out by FEMA for National Preparedness Month, has ever included nuclear disaster.

Maybe others have, if so please say so.

I remember going into the hallway, with girls on one side boys on the other side, and doing the duck and cover crouch against the wall. One time I refused to do it. I questioned my teachers by saying, "Do you really think this is going to save our lives by crouching against a wall." After that, we didn't have to do the drill any longer...

I remember my High School has basement catacombs that contained bomb shelters that can handle at least 500 people in each room and there were many rooms. Re-enforced 6 feet thick cement walls with sand for the flooring. In one of the rooms, the school turned it into a shooting range for the rifle club....

This is one of the main reasons I have never tried to prepare for it. Me and mine will meet our Maker and not suffer too long, if it is a dirty bomb.

If it isn't, then many will be fine if they shelter in place for 2 weeks if further out and 2 months if near. I don't remember reading the distances, people would have to read up on it, if they feel compelled to do so.
