I thought of getting my dog drunk earlier but didn't want to waste the liquor.

It's just natural (?) weed, not big pharma drugs.

Weed can be psychologically scary for some though, despite it's lack of physical side effects.

If the dog was really freaking out in a scared way, then I'd say yea it's animal cruelty.

I kept my Jack Russell terrier alive till he was twenty years old..he was diagnosed with a huge tumor in his chest when he was 14....
I started giving him heavy doses of cannabis oil....it made him tired until he adjusted, but after that he acted like a pup.
No more signs of pain, the tumor shrunk and my vet told me to keep doing what I was doing.
Dosed him with the cannabis oil daily until he finally passed away at 20 years old.

Dogs are property and we can do what we want with them so fuck off.

My younger sister used to have a cat that when he heard a flick of a lighter would come running over to get high.

Yes, I know, it wasn't the actual brownie mix, and it wasn't a lot, it was the film/liquid that was on the bottom of a tiny container that fell to the ground and he started licking. He's sleeping it off now, not quite animal abuse. I don't know if it did or didn't have anything to do with him puking, though, because earlier when I took him on a walk he got into something else before I could pull him away, so it's possible it could have been that is what made the tummy upset.

I just sat next to him and petted him and babytalked him until I knew he was relaxed.

No animal or person has ever died from a cannabis overdose, and I didn't think just licking what was left of a container of 'budmud' would do it for him to get him stoned, but the way he was walking he was pretty out of it.

well there you go. If my dog had cancer, he is now cured.

Okay, dogs are NOT property, though, they are living beings just like humans are.

In day's long past, a pet cat would venture too closely while someone toked. One day, the person decided to "get the cat stoned", by blowing smoke in it's face.

The cat didn't seem to run away, nor did it try for freedom, so it became intoxicated.

Afterwards, the cat ran off, and jumped on a very comfortable office chair. Later, when said stoner, went to use officer chair, the little cat, hissed and shown it's fangs and claws, with a clear message, "my chair now, bitch".

Alas the stoner relented, and gave the chair to the stoned cat, that had laid claim to the chair through martial force.

For awhile, the cat became a pest, of always crying to be let into the stoners room during an allotted hour of burning, but the cat became less of a dickhead, with each time, and was tolerated.

Eventually, as the cat matured, the cat grew out of it, and the stoner knew peace at toke time.

You are an asshole and do not deserve a dog. I hope this dog gets taken from you and given to someone who will actually care for it. What an horrible thing to do to an innocent creature that can not defend itself. It's a good thing the dog threw up- otherwise it might be dead.

My housemate had a cat that used to follow the bong. If you were pulling a bong the cat was right beside you waiting for a shotgun. lol. Little fucker sure could handle his weed.

Look, it's not like he got into a candy bar even, people!

He licked the bottom of a container that had cannabis mud in it and got really stoned, that's it. I got him stoned because I didn't see when I dropped it at first, until I heard him scraping it on the floor because I was mixing what had been IN the container in the batter.

Just because I felt kinda bad about it at first and was stupid enough to post about it because I ate a lot of the batter and already got stoned without even eating the brownie yet doesn't mean it was abuse nor that I deserve any further heaping.

I am just leaving this up to educate people about cannabis and animals. My dog probably got more harm from sniffing around the shit some nasty homeless person probably left behind yesterday than from licking the bottom of a container that used to contain cannabis in it.
