Court rules man shouldn’t have been sacked for smoking weed at work
A public worker caught smoking weed while on duty was punished too harshly and should be given his job back, a court ruled.

Gregory Linhoff was fired from his job at the University of Connecticut Health Center when he was caught enjoying a spliff in his state-owned vehicle by a police officer.

He was arrested, but charges were later dropped.

His employers said they had no choice but to sack him, as it would send a bad message to colleagues if he was allowed to remain.

But the state Supreme Court disagreed, and said Linhoff’s exemplary disciplinary record meant he should be given a second chance

It's getting closer - you can't put someone in jail no matter what they've done because it violates their human rights.

The guy works for the Health Center and is smoking pot in a STATE OWNED vehicle.

Breaking the law - nah, it's only your first time that you got caught, no biggie. I mean, the president smokes pot in a State owned house, so - no worries.

Morning NODOOM! I really think everyone should be allowed to smoke weed at work, but that's just me.

Have a heavenly day!

why stop at weed?

why don't employers just have free glue at the door, as everyone clocks in?

shit, they should employ someone to spray it on their rags for them, at the door, so they're ready to go before they even get to their workstation

what the fuck is going on? cruise

The State in a SOCIALIST country will always protect it's own… Here in CR, the Mayor or Quepos was caught red=handed with over 300 videos of himself with underage girls… and though prostitution is legal in CR, there is a large body of law protecting underage boys and girls… However, the mayor was not prosecuted, and is still receiving government benefits… Laws are for the People, NOT THE STATE…. Wonder why there are those ABOVE THE LAW??? Because THEY are in it together and if Hillary goes down, they ALL go down… and THAT SIMPLY CANNOT HAPPEN…. so the "show goes on"…

He who votes, not only sanctions the charade… but has BLOOD on their hands!

Maybe it was medical?
Could ur employer sack you over a sugar drink?
Could an employer sack you if you take any SSRI medicine?
