This dastardly story of betrayal and stolen love comes straight from the Patriarchs. Quoting: BunBun What do you believe about these two? Which sister was really bad? Was Leah better than Rachel or was Rachel really bad and deserved to be punished. I would have left if my sister had taken the man I loved. Poor Rachel. I think this is a disgusting story and I think that Jacob acted dishonorably overall. It wasn't Leah's fault..it was their dad Laman... [link to www.biblestudytools.com] And in the end the Lord punished Laman for his actions [link to www.biblestudytools.com] I pray that you have been well BunBun...and have been working on what I suggested for you previously (link) [link to www.biblestudytools.com] I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God. |

And to be clear, he only wanted to marry Rachel. But it was God's will that he was with the four of them. Certainly God would not have given Joseph the birthright if his birth was from an adulterous marriage. There is a thing called "concubines" and Jacob had three. Explain why Leah had to get permission from Rachel to sleep with Jacob if that was not his wife? Jacob neglected Leah. Genesis 30:14-15 KJV [14] And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son's mandrakes. [15] And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son's mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son's mandrakes. אשר |

G-d spoke all these words, to respond: "I am the Lord, your G-d, Who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall not have the gods of others in My presence. You shall not make for yourself a graven image or any likeness which is in the heavens above, which is on the earth below, or which is in the water beneath the earth. You shall neither prostrate yourself before them nor worship them, for I, the Lord, your G-d, am a zealous G-d, Who visits the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and the fourth generation of those who hate Me, and perform loving kindness to thousands [of generations], to those who love Me and to those who keep My commandments." ~ Exodus 20:1-6 "Woe to those who say of the evil that it is good and of the good that it is evil; who present darkness as light and light as darkness, who present bitter as sweet and sweet as bitter." ~Isaiah 5:20 "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt [link to immigrationcounters.com] “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”~ Alexis de Tocqueville “Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.” ~ Alexis de Tocqueville I'm voting for Hillary!!!
