So a person who eats dog is evil? Yet a person who stuffs their mouths with cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys isn't?


This sort of thinking boggles my mind. Sometimes I wonder if any of you have ever even been to another country.

Different cuisines and dishes are cultural. Down here in the southern US, they eat Chitlins, or pig intestines.


Meat is meat. You all are acting as if somehow the life of a dog is more valuable than the life of a cow. And who exactly determines that?


Also, dog meat just might actually HAVE more vitamins than cow or pig. Before you criticize this, are you sure it doesn't?

In a country where food is sparse, this is actually smart.

What about the part that you have to torture the poor animals to taste better? I am no vegan but I would be one if I had to kill the animals by myself though.

Dogs are mans best friend if you don't know that you are a sad bucket of fear. I think many of these weaker cultures are just instinctively afraid of dogs, because their stature is to be small and vulnerable. So dogs scare them and this is their Freudian reaction to that.

Because the people who eat dogs are smaller weaker cultures

And thats a fact. They do not have the higher tech understanding of we in the west.

So for them to self diagnose, as eating dogs out of their own insecurity and fear, is not possible.

I am somewhat astonished that someone could take this position. Cows, chickens and turkeys are not companion animals. Dogs were a gift from God to humanity to be our protectors and companions.

When I was a kid and lived on a farm, my dogs used to go out and hunt and bring their kills home to me before they would eat them. I had to tell them what good boys they were and tell them it was ok for them to eat it. Then they would...but tey always gave me first chance. if that is not love and friendship, I do not know what is.

Now pigs...well pigs are pretty damned smart too...but I still love some bacon...sorry.
