Dreams are nice and we have them because they're nice..
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72714983

The one I had last night wasn't nice at all...dark forces held me under power...I had to rcognize they weren't real and pf the the dark to muater the power to attacj them and get in some light so I could struggle awake. Lateral moving elevator again, for the first time in a long while...always disturbing dreams

Your all stupid and have it wrong , dreaming is simply the mind purging itself of dead thoughts and worries , sometimes with a few visions from God

You go insane when you don't dream , I know

I didn't dream for two years , well a few here and there , lost my mind eventually ,,

Here's another question, why babies sleep a lot? Especially those newly born? They do not require sleep, there is no reason for them to sleep so much.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29147737

Maybe sleep is the default state. Babies just born do not have any memories.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61557352

Science has no definitive answer for why we dream or even have to sleep. Studies have shown that brain activity in REM sleep states is the same as when we are awake. The are many forms of life that never "sleep" as we define it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62256985

^^^this is wrong because recent scientific studies have found that during sleep cerebral spinal fluid washes the brain of toxins created during the day's activities. Very necessary for sanity. So...it is known why we sleep.

When you sleep your astral body separates from the physical body and attends PRANA dispensing stations for a top up.

Prana...........IS NOT THE BREATH !

Prana is akin to a spiritual fuel which animates the being.

Since the evil takeover eons ago prana is no longer freely available as it was intended to be by the True Creator.

Because evil controls the physical realm it also controls the dispensation of Prana which it metes out miserly as part of the process of keeping us prisoners here.

I figured you had a sleep paralysis problem too. Religions are mostly man-made falsehood, God however, is very much real. And dreams are a portal that will allow you to see that, and attain true guidence, but you need to pay attention; to dreams, dream character, dream symbolism. There is information in dreams that 100 % originates outside the realm of your own consciousness.

Recurring dream terrors is not way to live life, you need to take control of that world, and your faith in God will do that. You need to control your life in this world too, and whatever it is causing your seeming imbalance. You need to pray, with intention, knowing for a certainty there is a recipient to the words in your heart. Try some lucid dreaming techniques to improve your dream recollection.

May God bless and guide you.
