Very welcome! Hope the babies can finally go home to remaining family members. They have been in protective Foster care since April 22, day of the murders.

The Chillicothe Gazette is also reporting Hanes and Nelson are the prime suspects in April's bloody execution-style shootings of eight family members in Pike County, Ohio. Their bodies were found on four different properties. Three children, ages 4 days, 6 months and 3 years, were found alive.

I know, right! I have been almost obsessed with this caseand followed it daily all over Internet.

This is the case where the 4 homes were removed from the property to preserve the crime scenes. Two young mothers had their babies, 6 months and the other only 4 days old, right beside them in bed. They wiped out a whole limb of the family tree besides those 2 young children and the 2 babies.

The family has not been able to see the babies since the murder, except 2 people, I believe, that are involved in getting custody of them.

Can you imagine having 8 members of your family murdered and then the 2 babies are taken by the state? I know it was for their safety, but still. So very hard and I can't even imagine how hard.

Prayers going out to all family members and the cops family!

Not sure about the video, I was reading the first article and went to the next page which had the video. I immediately came here to post the articles/video. It was gone by the time the AC on here checked it! Damn, it's scrubbed. Not the first time this has happened in this case. Other things have been scrubbed, too.

If it is not true about the Ohio family, I will change title to reflect it is arrests for slain cop.

I sometimes watch "The First 48" late at night and recently, one of the homicide detectives said that there are more murders over marijuana than any other drug.

I didn't know that Chillicothe is where that family was murdered, but they also think that there is a serial killer that has been picking victims in the town of Chillicothe. A few women have been found murdered and more are missing.

So much sadness for a town. I wonder if the family murders are related to the other killings and disappearances.

There is a man that has been arrested for another abduction and murder who has all the markings of a serial killer. James Dean Whorley(I think that is the proper spelling). I'm not sure how to research to find if there is a link to all of these things though.
