In my opinion this will also occur in the US
Quoting: eagleman It already happens in Maryland to an extent. Even if you defend yourself in your own home you can never be sure whether you will be charged or not. This is the only scenario that can get you off the hook in California. If there is 100% that intruder willingly and intentionally killed himself by forcing himself at you....and you did all possible steps to avoid his/her demise.
