Senior GOP Officials Exploring Options if Trump Drops Out - 8-3-16 | |
Oldren User ID: 51928895 United States 08/03/2016 03:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've said it many times.........if Trump loses in Nov. the reason will be his mouth. We get him at GLP, but too many voters may not, and everytime there is an incident, such as the Kahn thing, the media spin goes into effevt. There's only 90+ days until the election which may not be enough time to continually recover from these gaffs. I'm not saying that Trump is wrong in what he says, but he needs to learn how to play the media better. We know that the whole Kahn thing was a F'ing scam, but the rest of America does not. They only know what the MSM has told them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67314757 You are an idiot every time there is one of these so called incidents it is the MSM that gets played, Trump comes out on top each time, he plays the media and all the other haters, Trump will be the next president unless it is outright stolen from him and if that happens may we all have the fortitude to finally stand up and do the right thing. |

The GOP establishment really doesn't want Trump, and I don't doubt that there are some that would do anything including assassination to prevent that and retake their control of the party. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69087515 The Clintons are very good at causing people to have heart attacks or committing suicide. Yep, and someone in this thread posted an article a few pages back saying that members of his team are "suicidal" because of what's gone on over the last few days. I do think it's the Republicans he needs to worry about at this point though, not so much Hillary. People are getting suicidal? That’s not a good sign. :) |

I'm pretty sure that's what Bammy's speech was yesterday. It wasn't desperation but a direct threat. Maybe it was code to get the deed done. That is quite plausible but I can't believe they'd be that obvious. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. Or something |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 60039643 Sweden 08/03/2016 03:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pence HAS endorsed Ryan ^ Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69727329 The wheels of the Trump campaign are coming off. Why? Look what that slimeball closet democrat did to Trump when he became the nominee. Actually thinking he can challenge the candidate of the American republicans. He has every right to hold off on any endorsement. And Pence gave a decent explanation of why he's endorsing Ryan and it's perfectly fine. Do you realize in the early years of the republic, to protect the people, the president and vice president were often from two different parties. It's a clever Trump move cause he stays in the news cycle. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 70278209 United States 08/03/2016 03:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They're shooting their wad early on, just shows how desperate they are....part of it is they're trying to divert attention from the planned rigging in November....Hillary plays to near empty small halls, Trump plays to overflow crowds in stadiums......who gets the record contract? Prior to the internet, from it's inception the record industry used live crowd sizes as the best and proven accurate predictor of future record sales....this relationship holds true for voter preference also, it also holds true in any realm where level of popularity is a key factor in determining value....they all know this, hence the fake polls and the endless hysteria. Obama's huge campaign crowds were plastered all over the media as a legitimate indicator of popularity, as they were, now Trump's crowds are ignored..... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69727329 Republicans are already launching a Johnson campaign - dissatisfied Republicans? Libertarian Town Hall tonight.. Nude roller skating party. And just as important. Might as well. Huuge implosion coming - fire up that disco ball. This isn't about you and I. Donald's ship was always going to sink from the weight of his ego and thin skin. He has NOT been able to transition from Primary to General AND he takes things WAY too personal. It is entirely possible that this week was the pivotal point in his demise. OH shut up Hillary ..!!!!!! |

And then they are quick to say "it wouldn't happen, but in the event that it did...." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1717721 Where are they getting it from? Why float it if it hasn't been mentioned? What is the angle? If Trump did drop out - his and his family's ability to earn money ever again or show their face in public would be over. If this is some scam, some set up to assist Hillary getting in, he is toast financially speaking Another question- why just Trump, and not Hillary, too? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1717721 United States 08/03/2016 03:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mike Pence just endorsed paul ryan. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 60039643 Interesting the media made a big deal that Trump said he wasn't ready to endorse any of the stooges yet and my republican friends went apoplectic saying it wasn't good politics. But, isn't this what ryan and the republican wrecking crew did to Trump? Why does trump always have to play the fool? I heard this on the radio a bit ago. My jaw dropped. I thought I was immune. Dana Bash said something about adding this to the long list of stuff that's unusual for the 2016 campaign. It's interesting as he's got them freaked out lol. Why would Pence be endorsing Ryan if Trump hasn't? Sounds like a traitor move |

Sounds like a traitor move I wish I knew for sure but in the past it would mean that Pence is distancing himself - and trying to save his political career. Bad move against Trump. It would be like Joe Biden not supporting BLM and going against Obama. "What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?” The monkeys are running the zoo. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle. |

Quoting: Smoothsailing ABC News has learned that senior party officials are so frustrated -- and confused by Donald Trump's erratic behavior -- that they are exploring how to replace him on the ballot if he were to drop out."
