The smartest approach, IMO, is to plan each release to be more damaging than the previous. Sort them based on the degree of political damage they will cause... start with the lower and go higher over time.

This adds cumulative pressures, as well as great anxiety over what might come next.

People have short memories and will explain things away before the election. It's better if they save what they have and release it a little later, IMO.

Hoping that WL would not announce these kinds of things. Who knows what kind of strings can be pulled in the float time between announcing and release of data.
Assange is a little too confident, thinking he's untouchable. That can go out the window in short order given the right circumstances and environment.
