Quick, Let's Shoot the Messenger and Ignore the Message!

I loath politics so I'm hoping you see my point and not get caught up in republican vs democrat rhetoric after this, but as I'm looking at the news and watching the dialogue change to whether or not the Russians hacked some emails for DNC and/or whether the Republican party had something to do with it I'm wondering how it is that Americans are so easily persuaded to shoot the messenger and ignore the message? Next we'll be asking if Snowden helped the Russians hack the email.

And speaking of Snowden, when he exposes the government is committing crimes against their own people and violating the constitution they are sworn to protect, all of the dialogue turned quickly to how Snowden is a traitor and will we capture him and bring him to trial or should we just kill him as a traitor?

Let's all ignore what was EXPOSED and just talk about HOW this information was leaked. Let's let the outrage be on people who EXPOSE things and not what has been exposed. It's almost like if we catch the president banging a five year old in office we should crucify the secret service agent who comes forward to tell about it for breaking his oath of protecting the sanctity of the office of the president.
