yeah, it got better. It'd a real focus group, but I think there were a few plants. The first woman who spoke talked about how it had less "hate" and that his earlier speeches had more "hate"

I also thought the closing song (at least when family came on stage afterwards) was 'All Right Now'

Every network is calling the speech "too dark" but nobody is buying it. Trump has eclipsed the media narrative. He shapes it and they do not. That speech was reality , not darkness.

The whole CNN crew was visibly shaken by the whole experience.

To much cognizant dissonance from Trumps speech for their mental faculties to process.

He didn't say anything about whites either.

He was talking about all Americans. When are these idiots going to get that through their heads? Their brainwashing was absolutely complete.

Rate Speech and super 8.5. Only since I heard nothing on disabled citizens, children, and their families that struggle for good care, safety, and a better education for special needs children.

Sure, there are plenty of college prep charters for normal children, but charters also do a good job of delaying and frustrating special needs children out of their schools. Special needs kids are very expensive and schools will do/ not do anything to frustrate special needs type kids out of their schools. Therefore, there is a civil rights matter that needs to be addressed. There is plenty of school choice for relatively normal children. But, not so for special needs children. The regular public school are usually unfunded, under staffed and still many of the special needs teachers are still under trained.

Further still, parents struggled to find people to take care of there children to work. If you are on some form of welfare you have it better than the middle class as far as services that are available. That includes medical as well. So many times families end up choosing less for themselves to get more, because they are stuck in the middle. What is available to people who do choose to work and pay cost an arm and a leg, for individuals that need constant supervision. Just because a kid is disabled is not automatic that the family receives state and federally funded services.

Finally, we have to worry constantly about law enforcement that is not trained appropriately to deal or even consider when they arrive on sight that they are dealing with a person with an intellectual disability. Big cities offer a mental health trained officer to deal with these citizens, but not enough cities offer this service. This is the age of autism and we do need officers that are able to investigate before just barking orders and shooting people that act odd. This goes for schizophrenics/ bipolars too. Sometimes people don't mean to act oddly it's just the way they are. That is not a crime and no one should get the death penalty for being odd.
