United States Senator Rafael "Ted" Cruz showed himself to be nothing but a spiteful, spoiled-brat child, Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention. During a Prime Time speech, he failed to endorse Republican Nominee Donald J. Trump for President, instead telling people "vote your conscience."

It was the latest in a string of selfish, sore-loser actions take by a man who is so self-absorbed, he actually seems to think that he knows better than 14 million Americans who voted for Trump. Cruz is arrogance personified.

Amazingly, it was Cruz who made a big deal out of the Republican "pledge" which all candidates had to sign, requiring each candidate to support the eventual nominee. Tonight, Cruz didn't do that.

By his simple act of refusal, Cruz gives proof to the moniker (now aptly) applied to him by Donald Trump: Lyin' Ted.

If this man cannot be relied upon to honor his own signed pledge, how could anyone depend upon him to honor anything else he says?

This is one big mistake on the part of the protestors. It's one thing to get stupid and carry a sign and getting arrested, as that is a minor offense, maybe a fine at most. But assault on a police officer is going to give you some serious time in the slammer.
