To all my friends whether abroad or here,
There was NO millitary coup in Turkey. It was all a game. Unfortunately, it was one that lost lives, in horrible ways.
Groups of soldiers referred to as "er"s (lowest rank in the Turkish army) were told there was to be some sort of drill on the Bosphorus Bridge (and various places). They were taken there (aged mostly 20). They had absolutely no idea what was going on. As far as authority was concerned, they didn't have to. They were bait. (Pls see photo attached)
Meanwhile, being the conservative, religious reign that they are, the government ordered all mosques to make announcements calling people to "fight for their country" and "help maintain democracy" ( or that crappy idea they have of it 💩)
The people who then let themselves go loose on the streets, were the macho louts who are brainwashed by this dude we have reigning us(Reco Tayyo Erdo) who almost see him as a God to worship, who have no interest in issues like human rights, equality, freedom of speech, etc. They have the mannerisms and almost the verbal expressions of these extremist religious groups (-the you-know-whos).
Well now that you have kinda got the profile of these people in your minds, imagine all those people going against a hand of twenty year-olds. The soldiers were beaten, whipped with belts, beheaded, stripped of their uniforms. They demonstrated everything we frown upon when ISIS does it. And as far as I know the police force got involved too, taking on the soldiers.
And everything seems to be getting back to normal as our dear old recco tayyo erdo emerges magestically(!) out of his hotel in Marmaris.
And right now, this group of louts and mindless followers are celebrating "saving democracy"
Why did this happen? If you have been living under the reign of recco tayyo erdo, you will know that he does everything in his power to lock away or even get rid of people who disagree with him. The army (very well known for their coup in 1980) was something he feared a lot. It was the easiest way he could get rid of them. Also, he made it quite obvious during the Gezi Park Protests, that he would be behind starting a civil war.
I wasn't around to remember, but this country DID go through a coup in 1980. People who witnessed this, know very well that this is not the typical pattern TSK (Turkish Armed Forces) would follow.
I am ashamed to say that I have always had difficulty understanding politics; whether it be worldwide, or national. But living under this guys reign for 14 years. You kinda become accustomed to noticing the differences between a REAL political Issue, and something connected with his ego.
I was up a mountain when all this broke out and had no connection. This is basically what I could dig out.
There is a lot of misinformation out there and lots of news channels which either "don't look too deep into things" or are scared to reveal the truth.
Thought some of you might like this info. No link, its from a facebook post.
