We couldn't conquer Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, or Syria, so now we're going to try and liberate Minnesota instead.

Well it's kind of a big deal to me and many others since I have never seen military vehicles driving around on the residential streets of Minneapolis or its suburbs, not once in my entire life. Military copters fly over all the time, military vehicles on the streets, no. Especially significant considering everyone knows we're on the verge of martial law and BLM has been causing chaos and blocking off highways around here.

Minnesota has a little thing called the national guard and every now and then they might have their vehicles on the street. I've seen it a few times,no big deal.

Do you actually think that governor Mark(mentally ill)Dayton would have the balls to deploy troops in North Minneapolis,LMAO.

I'm not sure what to think. My guess is they're either making their presence known to deter future riots, or else they're practicing for SHTF.

These were obviously in convoy and from the little bit that was shown, it looks like this was a "Right Seat Ride" on an established route. In other words, scenario training for patrols. Also notice the gunners turrets. These were 1025/1026 turtle shell gun trucks used for "Mounted Patrols"

Also notice the antenna's, this mean they have mounted SINCGAR radios. This is a small Patrol.

Me too! I no longer live in Minneapolis, I moved out to the country to get away from some of the craziness that goes on in the city.

Should we be frightened if we see our military driving on the streets, and if so why? Do you have any friends or family in the military or national guard? Are you scared of them?

Are you frightened of martial law? What happens during martial law? Has martial law ever been used before in American history? What happened previously during martial law?

Are you talking about the blue helmet, gun confiscation, FEMA camp, MARSHALL LAWWWW...

All I see on here every day is DOOM talk related to the topic I posted about! Suddenly it's no big deal and I'm overreacting??? I'm really surprised at the replies I'm getting here.

I hate what's going on here in MN and it needs to be stopped one way or another. I have absolutely ZERO part in BLM. People like those in BLM have basically terrorized me for most of my life while growing up in Minneapolis - which is why I moved far away from that place! My mother still lives near the area where all this is going on so I do need to go over there on occasion. Kind of pisses me off that I have to plan my day around BLM stupidity, like the "Day of Rage" that never materialized. I shouldn't have to change plans due to a scheduled protest or worry about getting stuck on the highway should a protest or riot break out.

To those asking if I am afraid.....will YOU be afraid when they start practicing for martial law in your state?? Am I afraid of law enforcement? NO. What I am afraid of are the conditions creating the need for such drastic measures. It frightens me to think it has come to this, but I knew it was coming sooner or later. I have suspected since 2007 that they were trying to stir up a race war and I told several people of my suspicions. We all knew it was coming prior to the elections so it's no surprise there at all.

Absolutely NOT!!! If you are assuming I am involved with BLM you are dead wrong and you can just stop there. What scares me is the conditions surrounding this entire thing, since my mother lives less than 15 miles away from all the BS going on. I fear for her and I fear for myself when I have to go over there. I am getting leery about even bringing my son over there anymore since this all started.

Hey you have my sympathies and understanding. I lived in South Minneapolis for two decades of my adult life. Been gone from there for many years and never looked back. I totally hear you about "people like those in BLM have basically terrorized me" I'd have to say that's about right. Robbed at gunpoint, followed, threatened, constantly harassed walking down the street, it was never ending. I wanted to call the mayor's office when I left and say: Hey, do you keep track of white flight statistics? Cause I'm white and I'm so out of here.

When, for 30 years, military helicopters and equipment are never seen in your neighborhood then all of a sudden there are Blackhawks blowing the leaves off the trees in your yard everyday, there is something wrong.

Sounds like the story of my life!! (minus the robbed at gunpoint part, knock on wood!) Glad you got away from there! I moved out to the country and so glad I did! I used to hear gunshots several times a week when I lived in North Minneapolis (NOMI) in the 1990's, you'd have to get down on the floor as fast as you could, away from the windows! Not fun. A Native American man walking down the street with his girlfriend in front of our house was shot during a drive-by and came to our downstairs neighbor's door for help! He said he had no idea who the shooter was. That was pretty freaky!

I can't tell you how many times I have been assaulted and harassed for absolutely NO reason! I know how people like BLM operate because I have lived around them my entire life; they live to intimidate others so they can feel powerful! And don't you dare say anything or accuse them of doing anything wrong because they don't see reason and easily get offended, then they really go off.

Just a couple years ago I was harassed the entire time I shopped at the grocery store in Brooklyn Center by two young black women. Why? Because I covered my face with my scarf when I heard and saw one of the women coughing violently, not even covering her mouth!! I was already very sick and didn't want to risk catching anything so I simply covered my face with my scarf. When she saw that she started hollering out "Bitch think we got germs!!". I just ignored her like I didn't hear. They followed me all around the store harassing and repeating what they said earlier. I just pretended like I didn't hear them which pissed them off even more. lol.

They had the nerve to get in line right behind me at checkout and kept talking their BS. I still pretended not to notice and played it off by rubbing my nose, sniffing and coughing while they kept talking their shit, pretending like I was the one who was sick--or crazy--so they would get weirded out and back off. I began to lose my cool as I was emptying my cart and looked straight into their eyes with a "don't even try me" look. A minute later one of the women said "Let's get outta here, she makin me nervous!". The other one was like "yeah let's go!". And they left and went to another lane, lmao!

But it still wasn't over because they sat on the bench in the store, presumably waiting for me to leave. I walked out the door on high alert and as I was putting my groceries in the trunk they walked by. I picked up my tire iron and held it in my hand, pretending like I was going to use it on my car. They saw and quickly moved away, lol! Many times these people are all talk and just love to see who they can intimidate, but other times they are serious. It's hard to know who's who, so you just have to be on guard at all times.

I totally know what you mean about being on your guard at all times, I was hyper alert and paranoid, had people casing the store I worked at, attempted robbery, midnight break in burglary at store, neighbors assaulted, murders down the street, sirens starting in the evening and going for hours every single night, helicopters flying overhead super low and shining spotlights in the house windows, never ending bullshit with crack lookouts, panhandlers, stalkers, just a bunch of bullshit in a beautiful city built by artistic, forward looking people who loved nature and architecture.

I'll tell you the bullshit wouldn't bother me half as much except that the population and the city council and other powers there are in such denial, they live in such a bubble and don't address anything worthwhile or substantial. Every heinous thing that happened, like my friend's elderly landlord having a home invasion with thugs holding a knife to his neck, it's like it didn't really happen, all swept under the rug. Nothing done about anything, no reaction, no action, no change, only deterioration.
