He was influenced by his wife, but he made the final decision. In this way the woman, being more emotional, could not be taken advantage of by those outside the family unit, as she clearly is today. The man is more ruled by logic. The woman is more ruled by emotion. Logic is harder to manipulate than emotion. It is not a flaw in women to be the more emotional of the two sexes. It is necessary for the proper raising of children. The woman is usually more capable of showing her love and affection to the children than the man. The children generally need this to develop properly emotionally. Within that system, women, ruled more by emotion, were known to stir up their husbands to take their part and defend their culture. They became the backbone of the culture, but letting them vote has ended up destroying what we once had. |

Actually, this did happen in back alleys, but no one cared about it. The reason why the occurrence rates were lower was due to women marrying early in their teens instead of late. Also, it's the reason why divorce rates were lower, it's been proven that women who have had many sexual partners find it harder to eventually bond with a permanent mate. |
