of note, that is an SKS rifle that fires a 7.62 round and likely not a rifle that he would have purchased legally. These are generally ghetto street guns. Likely an untraceable P2P purchase. Being former military, he would not have been trained on such a weapon. I'm guessing that either he just wanted the killing power of the larger round or he did not want the paper trail of a rifle purchase traced back to him.

I heard on the news that the investigators were not going To do a test on him for drugs because there wasn't enough of the body to test. Sure as hell looks like there's enough of a body there to test for any kind of substance in his system so what's the real truth .

i know lots of former active duty soldiers who prefer ak's over ar's.

i wouldn't have dumped all my ak's except for the fact that the wife doesn't enjoy shooting them and prefers the recoil of an ar. gotta keep what she enjoys shooting.
