To get the full effect of the tumeric, one must add black pepper in a 8:1 ratio.

That is, for a teaspoon of tumeric, one should add an eighth of a teaspoon of black pepper.

At the moment I'm sipping a cup of the tea as made in the vid of the OP (w/ an eighth of a teaspoon of black pepper in it). Stuff has a kick and a half, lemme tell ya.

This is an anecdotal but true story. To tackle my weight a few years ago I started a vegetarian diet. At the time my blood pressure was high. Included in my diet were rice dishes with turmeric/curcumin. I started suffering low blood pressure and ditched the BP meds. I now take the spices as a supplement and am enjoying continued good health. I hope others find this to be true. So much cheaper than medications that are derived from many of the spices we eat.

will look into. i have been taking turmeric daily for several years now just to keep inflammation at bay.

I know someone who was getting severe stomach cramps all the time . Causes them to double over in agony for hours. Saw specialists, all sorts of prescription medicines then she told her mother who said are you adding tumeric when you cook?

She rarely gets stomach cramps now and when she does she swallows a turmeric tablet and it is gone in minutes.

Okay I just made this tea with the blk pepper and I am stirring it and I am afraid to sip it. Damn its thick but I do have high blood pressure and I want off the meds.

Are sure, damn its spicey and tastes awful, maybe a little more honey. I don't know, but its natures medicine and it tastes like medicine.

Take care of your heart. Hawyhorne magnesium and lose the stress. I know that last one is hard to do but you can avoid the things that stress you out somethings. Eat right, fresh air, exercise and a good nights sleep will also help.

That MIGHT actually work, for a few.

It WILL NOT help the majority who have those diseases.

My husband was going into prehypertension running 140/150

and anyway, I bought him a hawthorne/hisbiscus (sp) supplement and after a few weeks he's down to mid to high 120's, so it seems to be helping.

I am also taking it along w/my BP meds and it has me down to mid 120's, where with just the high BP meds I was still running in the 130s. But I only take one pill a day of the hawthorne/hisbiscus supplement since I'm still taking the BP meds.

Want to see my bp stabilize in the low 120s before I cut my BP meds in half and then see what happens. Just started, so will need time to see.

I'm afraid to take 2 tablets daily because I don't want it to drop my bp too low too fast...so I'm going very slow in what I hope to be a switch from pharma meds to natural.

Also bought some of the hisbiscus tea and my husband drinks one cup of that a day with the 1 pill and it is helping him.

Needs fat. So add a dollop of butter, sprinkle it with the black pepper and then let it dissolve. Also, to mimic the 2 best sellers (Kardo and Extendo-Vite), add hawthorn and gingko.
