Things start getting real when you look at the supporting family members and friends of those who died and were injured.
For example a man named Santos Rodriguez claims to be a cousin (and probably is) of the injured Geoffery (Jeffery/Jeff) Roriguez had a breach of contract lawsuit filed against him for $15,000. It was dropped. The party suing decided not to pursue the matter for some reason.
So there is $15,000 Mr. Santos Rodriguez will not need to pay. Couple that with the GoFundMe for Jeffery (now @ $16,152) and the money they will get from the big fund which is nearing $6 million and you have yourself a scam like no other (if you don't count all of the other fake shootings). Interestingly a man claiming to be Santos Rodriguez III is handling the GoFundMe page for Jeff.
A similar situation occurs with a man named Jorge Bustamante who was facing 5 years in prison for habitual traffic offenses in Florida. The charges were dropped recently.
Jorge Bustamante was mentioned during the "funeral" of Javier Jorge-Reyes... who's GoFundMe is now at $18,252 of a $25,000 goal.

This was a simple search for just two of the dozens of names involved in this operation. I believe that many of the people involved were relieved of debts and/or prison sentences and the rest were paid actors and government employees. I'm looking into the state of Orlando's financial situation. A new state of the art police station and the problems with large cities funding their pension accounts may play into this hoax in a big way.
Remember that San Bernardino was facing bankruptcy and was the second poorest big city in the country at the time of that hoax shooting. So money is the name of this game.
There's a GoFundMe page for every one of the "victims" and "dead". But there are also two larger funds that are meant to help these people plus there's always help from the state that covers victims expenses. The whole thing is an elaborate yet deliberately sloppy hoax. Most of the sloppiness is written into the script IMO. The reference to "multiple shooters" was an ingenious way to get people to believe that there had to be shooters when in fact there was no shooter.
I also find it rather remarkable that most of the dead are from Puerto Rico and needed to be flown back to their beloved homeland to be buried.
