Lane Graves did receive traumatic injuries from the alligator in addition to being drowned

A dive team found 2-year-old Lane Graves dead on Wednesday. Graves died due to drowning and traumatic injuries, the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office said Thursday.

How many died by falling down the stairs?

He was a beautiful boy with his whole life ahead of him.

And this boy died due to Disney executive negligence.

NEGLIGENCE.

I found this so disturbing. I could not sleep last night thinking about that poor child. I can't imagine how many days they spent planning this vacation. It made my heart hurt.

And this beautiful boy didn't need to die.

Disney had better foot the entire bill for all funeral expenses for this poor child.

The parents will sue and win. There is a huge lake with alligators in it. They have this beautiful resort with a muddy sandy beach that probably should not be there really. So the people let their kid walk on the beach and a gator grabs him and the parents catch it too late. So the hotel gets sued and the beach goes away and pretty soon everything goes away because people get injured and they sue. Muteka

I couldn't sleep thinking about the poor Mom and her remaining children. What should of been the trip of a lifetime. Just horrible the memories and suffering of Disney World.

There were no signs warning of alligators to foreign visitors who would have no idea of the way alligators operate.

Who would even think that Disney would allow alligators in their theme parks? It's supposed to be a safe place for kids.

Disney regularly removes alligators from their theme park but somehow there are eight alligators that they've found so far since the death.

Disney ignored their employees warnings that hotel guests were feeding alligators from off their balconies at the Disney park hotels.

The head of Disney Orlando was either

1. Spending too much time celebrating gay pride month

2. Listened to the bean counters for Disney who may have advised them to cut back alligator removal costs. Disney beancounters are known for their ruthlessness.

3. Or was occupied opening up Shanghai Disney.

No matter what, the regular removal of alligators had stopped for some reason and that is negligence for whatever reason.

It's criminal negligence as far as I'm concerned.

And yet with all this negligence, there has been exactly one alligator attack at Disney in 45 years. There will be a lawsuit and Disney will erect gigantic warning signs. Which will be ineffective.

Disney will be expected to make sure that they have alligators removed from their properties. As everyone assumed they did I'm sure.

They better get those alligator removal teams up and running if they want to stay in existence.

And they better stop fucking around with glbt propaganda and get people in their management who actually take care of the kids on their properties.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that they haven't had any incidents resulting in death and yet they hire a guy three years ago who is totally into putting together films for glbt propaganda to run Disney World and low and behold in gay pride month, a little boy dies.

Not surprised.

But terribly sad and grieved.

They would love it if that was all they were going to be liable for in this case. This is going to be a multi-million dollar settlement. The Disney properties in Fla. are like having your local zoo create a beach in front of the alligator exhibit with no barriers between the visitors and the gators. Oh, lets not forget the signs......."No Swimming"..........but no signs warning of alligators.

I wonder if the lagoon is actually NOT private property as no one can own a waterway. This would fall under maritime law actually unless the lagoon is man made. I don't think it is, though.

In Florida you dunderhead. Disney World is 40 square miles, so it is naive at best to think alligators wouldn't wander onto the property.

This has nothing to do with gay pride.
This is parents who sadly enough weren't using common sense in regards to watching their child.
While signs would be a good idea, it's little different than a warning label.
MOST people know not to do what warning labels warn against.
Most people know that swampy, humid areas such as Florida have a gator population and proceed with caution around watery areas.
Same with the beach and sharks.
Besides using caution in areas with those types of apex predators, a child that little shouldn't be so close to the water anyway.
