I wont disagree with you. I will say that tomorrow me and millions of other gun owners will wake up tomorrow (God willing we do wake up)with guns safely in our possession.

I just finished an article that says gun violence costs taxpayers $200 billion a year. This article has got to be as far out of touch with reality as it gets. It sights things like legal fees, long term prison costs, police investigations, and security enhancements. The problem is these are all failures of the system itself. We could add up these same very stats for the "war on drugs" and it would make these trumped up numbers look small.

I'll link the article if anyone wants to read it but I can't bring myself to promote that kind of stupid.

To me that's like saying they shut down the VHS industry. The coal industry,just like the crude industry, is antiquated and long over due for replacing/shutting down.

Ask yourself why a regional issue is now a national issue....It's forced diversity integration to undermine economic segregation. Chicago has the most stringent gun laws because of Socioeconomic segregation. You travel to rural Illinois and the crime rate is almost non-existant. It's not racist, it's a fact.

Same applies to every state. If African-American and Hispanic people lived in rural areas with virtually no crime and Caucasian people inhabited urban areas with 99% of the states crime, would that make African-American and Hispanic people racist for Socioeconomic segregation?

Don't even get me started on the population percentages of Caucasian vs. African-American in congruence with Hispanics and the disproportionately higher crime rate among African-Americans and Hispanics!!! Now look at crime statistics involving registered guns versus crimes commited with stolen guns and the race discrepancy.

I guess stolen guns must be racist considering 90% of murders committed with a stolen gun, the victim is either African-American or Hispanic. 95% of all murders committed with a stolen gun are committed by an African-American or Hispanic. Registered guns are almost never used in a murder just like stolen cars are almost always used when committing another crime.

If we are all racist then why are Asians never mentioned in these conversations? Indians? Why do Asians segregate themselves? I have a Hispanic wife with multi-cultural children who shares the same view as I do. Are we racist? This is an orchestrated design to tear at the seams of the moral fabric that holds this nation together. To let the enemy self identify is to allow the enemy to blend in and infect a populous.

You can't eradicate cancerous tissue if you're not allowed to differentiate between the healthy tissue (rural America with low unemployment and low crime) and cancerous tissue (urban America with high unemployment and high enrollment in social welfare programs and high crime). The cancer has spread from the inner city into the suburbs and now is creeping into rural America with illegal drugs being the conduit to metastasize that cancer.

The last and most important question is to ask yourself why this Administration is colluding with drug criminals and ILLEGAL aliens with Cartel affiliations? The coyotes that bring them across are controlled by the Cartels so how do these people know the coyotes in the first place? Don't even get me started on sanctuary cities and the correlation between violent crime statistics and drug statistics. Ask yourself why the push to legalize narcotics and pardon drug convictions? Coincidence or culpability?

Rural America is 70% of the population with 90% of the guns. You do the math and ask yourself what the TRUE agenda is. Grow a pair and Wake TF Up!!!!!!!

You are right. The government should never influence a capitalist society. Maybe the VHS was a bad example. Let's say that coal and oil are going the way of asbestos and lead based paint. I'm not for big government but there are times when I personally think regulation of certain products are for the greater good.

I'm note sure how I would react, if I woke up tomorrow morning and the fed was confiscating manufacturers assets.

True. They do have plenty of cannon fodder. The thing is China needs the United States more than ever. Their economy is hanging on by a thread just as ours is. If one goes so goes the other. I just think the Chinese would go faster and deeper into the financial abyss. To send troops or "peace keepers" or whatever the fuck they want to call 'em would be a disaster for them.

Well, I knew a Korean War Vet, God rest his soul, that was attached at the company level as an antiaircraft battery guarding an artillery battalion.

Now granted this was battalion and company level, no more than a few hundred to a thousand soldiers.

They were attacked overnight. In the morning he said the dead enemy count was over 41,000 on or around the wire.

Fodder indeed.
